Qogita MOV Helper
How to clear a Qogita minimum order value
You found a product on Qogita that clears your margin, and the supplier will not ship it because the cart is below their minimum. It is one of the ways a good Qogita deal quietly fails to become an order. Here is what the minimum actually is, the four honest ways out of it, and the one that does not cost you the margin you just found.
What a minimum order value is
A minimum order value, usually shortened to MOV, is a floor a supplier puts on the total value of a single order. Qogita suppliers set their own, so it is not one number across the marketplace — it varies by supplier, and the only reliable figure is the one shown for the supplier you are actually buying from.
Two details decide everything that follows. The floor is on the order total with that one supplier, not on the line item you care about. And it is a threshold, not a fee: below it the order simply does not go out, and there is nothing to pay to make it go out anyway.
Qogita publishes the figure where you need it. Every offer on a product page shows the MOV for the supplier making it, and your cart shows each supplier's minimum, how far along you are and how much is left — with the suppliers you have cleared marked as ready to check out. The number is never something you have to guess at.
The four ways to clear a MOV
Because the floor is a total, there are only four things you can do about it — and two of them are answers people skip past too quickly:
- Buy more of the same product. The cleanest option when the deal is genuinely good and you can sell the volume — the margin per unit does not change, only your exposure does.
- Add other products from the same supplier. The floor counts everything in the order, so any other line from that supplier moves you towards it. This is where the money is made or lost.
- Wait. Suppliers restock and reprice, and a second product from the same supplier reaching your target turns one short cart into one viable order.
- Walk away. A deal that only works if you also buy stock you cannot sell was never the deal you thought it was.
Why the second option quietly costs sellers money
Adding other products from the same supplier is the obvious option, and the one with a trap in it. Under time pressure a cart gets padded with whatever is cheap and available from that supplier, on the reasoning that the profit on the main line covers it.
That reasoning is untested by construction. Filler bought without checking Amazon economics might sell well, sell slowly, sell at a loss after fees, or not sell at all — and it ties up cash and storage while it decides which. The order cleared the minimum; whether the order made money is a separate question nobody asked.
Doing it properly by hand means checking a supplier's whole catalogue against Amazon fees, VAT and demand for every candidate add-on, while the offer that started all this is still live. That is the work the MOV Helper exists to remove.
How the MOV Helper fills a short cart
When a supplier has a minimum and your cart falls short, the MOV Helper scans that supplier's whole catalogue — only that supplier's, because only that supplier's stock counts towards their floor — and scores every product against your own rules and Amazon regions, exactly the way the monitor scores anything else.
By default, the view includes all matching rows returned for that supplier — profitable, not profitable and rows without enough fresh data — in the supplier's own catalogue order. Each row shows its profitability status, and you can filter by that status or choose the ordering. The MOV-fit ranking puts profitable products first, then the ones that would close the gap, then the ones that close it in the fewest units, then the ones that make the most money doing it; plain sorts by profit, ROI, price or available stock cover other constraints.
You decide what goes in. Add the ones you want to your Qogita cart and the order is yours to place as normal — the helper narrows the catalogue down to the add-ons worth considering, it does not buy on your behalf.
Planning around minimums before you are stuck
The cheapest MOV problem is the one you never have. Two habits help. Watch several products per supplier rather than one, so a single order has more than one way to reach the floor. And treat the minimum as part of the deal when you judge it: the same per-unit margin is a different proposition once you know how many units the supplier's floor commits you to.
Automated buying meets the same floor, and does not pretend otherwise. Auto-Checkout sizes an order from your quantity setting and then checks the minimum: when what it can buy at your price falls short, it stops before checkout and parks those units in your Qogita cart, naming the supplier and the exact gap still to close.
What is a minimum order value on Qogita?
It is a floor a supplier sets on the total value of one order. Qogita itself does not set one; each supplier sets their own, and it is shown on every offer and tracked in your cart. Until your cart with that supplier reaches it, the order does not go out — you either add more products from that supplier or walk away from the deal.
How high is the minimum order value on Qogita?
There is no single figure. Qogita suppliers set their own minimums, so they vary from supplier to supplier and can change — always work from the minimum shown for the supplier you are ordering from rather than a number you read somewhere.
Can I combine products from different suppliers to reach the minimum?
No. A minimum order value belongs to one supplier and only that supplier's stock counts towards it, which is why the MOV Helper searches a single supplier's catalogue rather than the whole marketplace.
Does the MOV Helper check Amazon profitability on the add-ons?
Yes. Every candidate add-on is scored against your own rules and chosen Amazon regions, with profit and ROI worked out after fees and VAT. The default view includes all matching rows, not only profitable ones, and labels each as profitable, not profitable or lacking enough fresh data. You can filter or sort the list before choosing; the helper does not buy on your behalf.
Is a minimum order value the same as a shipping threshold?
No. A free-shipping threshold changes what an order costs; a minimum order value decides whether the order happens at all. Shipping on Qogita varies by supplier and is a separate line in your costs, so budget for both when you work out whether a cart is worth placing.
